Wagtopia’s Doggie Day Camp was created for the dog that loves the outdoors. After being picked up in our Wagtopia School Bus, several friends, both two and four legged, will accompany your dog on a field trip to a dog friendly adventure destination. Our Doggie Day Camp adventures take place at Bay Area hiking trails, coastlines and beaches, as well as lakes and reservoirs.

The dogs remain on-leash during these trips and are handled at a comfortable ratio (varied based on the Handler’s capabilities). An exception to the “on-leash” rule can be made during trips that involve swimming, beaches that have an “off-leash” policy, or open reserves that grant permission to have dogs unleashed.

Pick-Ups and Drop-Offs

Pick-ups and Drop-offs take place at your home or place of work and are included in the daily fee. Pick-ups are in the mornings from 8:00am to 10:00am while drops-offs are in the early evenings from 3:00pm to 5:00pm. Our Doggie Day Camp operates Monday through Friday. If you or another member of the household will not be present during pick-up or drop-off, a home key may be left on file with Wagtopia allowing us to securely drop off your dog at home while you are away. Requirements

In order for a dog to attend Doggie Day Camp, they must meet ALL of the following requirements:

• Be current on the following vaccines:
• Rabies
• DHPP (Distemper/Hepatitis/Parvo/Parainfluenza)
• Bordetella
• Canine Influenza (Flu)
• Lepto (Leptospirosis)
• Be free of fleas, ticks, worms, and parasites, as well as be on a flea preventative (tick preventative is highly recommended)
• Be healthy and able to hike/walk for up to five miles
• Be dog and people friendly
• Attend at least one of Wagtopia’s “Meet and Greets” as an assessment and evaluation
• Electronically sign and submit all required paperwork

Transportation

During Doggie Day Camp, your pups will have the opportunity to ride in the Wagtopia School Bus. Our school bus is fully fabricated to ensure the highest level of canine safety during transportation. Weighing in at just over 10,000lbs, the bus contains many custom-made sitting areas for your canine companions built with highly durable and water-resistant material allowing us to maintain the highest levels of sanitation and safety. Dogs are surrounded by four walls as well and secured in by using a harness and seat belt (all harnesses will be provided by Wagtopia). The Doggie Day Camp Bus also carries pet and human first aid and emergency kits, 15 gallons of clean water, fresh bedding, as well as extra storage for dog lunches and other items.

How to Schedule

In order to enroll your dog, or dogs, in our Doggie Day Camp, please begin by creating a Wagtopia Profile. You can do this by clicking the "Sign In" button found on the top right corner of any page. Following this, discover the “Create a New Account” button, where after proceeding you be asked to answer a few simple questions regarding your personal, along with your pet’s, information. Once completing your profile, you may book services online. This system will also handle all billing and “Package Usage” for our services. Please remember to schedule a complimentary "Meet and Greet for Doggie Day Camp" if you are new to Wagtopia.

An online signature for our “Service Agreement” along with our “Veterinary Release” Form is required for ALL users. These forms can be found by viewing out “Reservations and FAQs” page and clicking the “Sign Our Service Agreement” button.
